A Mrs. Dalloway Workshop 2025!
with Weekly Assignments
Join an inspiring 4-session autumn workshop - celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the publication of Virginia Woolf’s modernist masterpiece, Mrs. Dalloway - that pairs close reading of the book with hands-on creative writing practice. Over four engaging 2-hour sessions, you'll explore Woolf's revolutionary stream-of-consciousness technique, her nuanced portrayal of memory and time, and her deep insights into human consciousness.
Each session combines thoughtful discussion of Woolf's groundbreaking 1925 novel with guided writing exercises inspired by its central themes: the complexity of identity, the weight of the past, the beauty found in ordinary moments, and the invisible connections between strangers. Whether you're drawn to psychological realism, experimental narrative techniques, or simply want to develop your own authentic voice on the page, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from one of literature's most innovative writers.
No prior experience with modernist literature required— just curiosity and a willingness to explore both classic storytelling and your own creative potential. All writing levels welcome.
Begin your autumn with literary discovery and personal expression! Limited to 8 participants.

When was the last time you wrote something too intimate to send? Or sent something that changed everything? Or discovered a box of old letters that revealed an entire life you never knew about?
Enter the transformative world of epistolary writing. Letters, diaries, emails, and hybrid forms become portals of possibility, collapsing time and distance through the power of direct address. Here, you'll speak secrets, reveal truths, and build emotional bridges impossible in any other form.
Drawing from masterful examples, you'll push creative boundaries while developing your distinct voice. Weekly sessions merge writing with expressive arts—collage, calligraphy, photography, painting, etc—to illuminate your stories in unexpected ways. No art experience needed.
Join this workshop to transform your writing through the intimate art of the epistolary. Limited to 6 participants.
Saturdays
15:30–18:00 CET*
beginning 26 April 2025
